A body is discovered by three seal hunters, and after it is found to be a missing Danish cryptographer, the ensuing investigation uncovers a mysterious link between the researcher and a medieval manuscript known as The Book of Flatey.īefore long another body is found on the tiny island. The series is set in a deserted island off the western coast of Iceland in 1960. The Flatey Enigma will be a four-part series, based on the best-selling book by Viktor Arnar Ingolfsson, and adapted by Margrét Örnólfsdóttir ( Prisoners). Now news reaches us of a new crime drama show, co-produced by Sagafilms and Reykjavik Films, which should be with us next year.
